My adult students are often top players in their respective groups. Many have successfully auditioned for community bands/orchestras/ensembles, and some are now even performing on a semi-professional basis.
It's nice to have a teacher who is actively performing, too! I am principal clarinet of the Racine Symphony Orchestra, a member of Lake Effect Clarinet Quartet and perform with many area ensembles including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra, and Quad City Symphony.
